How Your Bathroom Gets Done
- 1
Plan & Fixed Quote
We measure the space, agree finishes and fixtures, and quote a fixed price for the complete job — no allowance games.
- 2
Rough-In & Waterproofing
Demo, plumbing and electrical rough-in, then proper membrane waterproofing in wet areas — the part you never see and can never skip.
- 3
Tile & Finish
Tile, glass, vanity, lighting, and trim, finished with a walkthrough and a clean site — typically two to three weeks after demo starts.
Why Homeowners Pick HMH for Bathrooms
Waterproofing First
Membrane systems and proper slopes in every shower we build — because a beautiful bathroom that leaks is a failed bathroom.
Tile Work We Sign
In-house tilers who cut clean edges, level large-format tile, and centre patterns the way you would want them.
Accessible Options
Curbless showers, grab-bar blocking, and comfort-height fixtures for aging-in-place or accessibility needs — designed in from the start.

Bathroom Renovation Questions
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
A full gut-and-rebuild of a standard bathroom typically takes two to three weeks on site. Adding or moving fixtures can extend that.
Do you need a permit for a bathroom renovation?
Swapping fixtures and finishes does not need one. Moving plumbing, adding a new bathroom, or structural changes do — we flag it in the quote and pull the permit.
What stops tile and grout from cracking later?
Solid substrate prep: uncoupling membranes, correct thinset coverage, and movement joints. It is invisible when we finish and the reason the work lasts.
Can you make a shower accessible?
Yes — curbless entries, fold-down seats, hand-held sprays, and reinforced walls for grab bars are all things we build regularly.
