How an Addition Comes Together
- 1
Feasibility & Design
We check zoning setbacks and coverage for your lot, then work with designers and engineers on drawings that the city will approve and you can afford to build.
- 2
Permits & Foundation
Building permit, excavation, footings, and foundation — inspected at every required stage, tied properly into the existing structure.
- 3
Frame to Finish
Framing, roof, windows, mechanical rough-ins, insulation, drywall, and finishes — one schedule, one project lead, closed permits at the end.

How much can I add to my house?
It depends on your lot's zoning — coverage, setbacks, and height limits vary by municipality. We check feasibility for free before you spend anything on drawings.
How long does an addition take?
Design and permits typically run two to four months depending on the municipality; construction of a typical rear addition runs three to five months after that.
Can we live in the house during construction?
Usually yes. We keep the existing house sealed off and weather-tight, and schedule the messiest tie-in work in short, planned windows.
Do you handle the engineering?
Yes — we bring the structural engineer, coordinate the drawings, and build to them. Engineering review is part of every addition quote.
