Quartz Countertops, Templated Tight and Installed Right

Quartz first — and granite and porcelain where they suit the room — digitally templated, fabricated to fit, and installed with clean seams, solid support and properly mounted sinks. On its own, or as the last step of your kitchen renovation.

How Countertops Get Done

  1. 1

    Material & Quote

Pick your slab — quartz, granite, or porcelain — with our supplier pricing, and get a fixed quote including templating, fabrication, and install.

  2. 2

    Template & Fabricate

Digital templating after cabinets are set, then precision cutting and edge profiling at the fabricator — seams planned where they disappear.

  3. 3

    Install & Connect

Counters set level and supported, undermount sinks bonded and clipped, faucet holes drilled clean, and plumbing reconnected — usually one day.

Why HMH for Countertops

Part of the Whole Kitchen

We install counters as part of full kitchen renovations weekly — cabinets, plumbing, and backsplash coordination is built into the process.

Seams Where They Belong

Layout planning puts seams at sink cut-outs or low-visibility runs, matched for pattern and polished flush.

Supplier Pricing

Years of volume with quartz and stone fabricators means better slab pricing and faster turnaround than walk-in retail.

Countertop Questions

Why do most people choose quartz?

Quartz is an engineered stone: ground quartz bound with resin, so it is non-porous, does not need sealing, resists stains and comes in consistent colours and patterns from slab to slab. Granite is a natural stone that must be sealed periodically and varies slab to slab; porcelain is thinner, very heat-resistant and suits large-format looks. For a family kitchen, quartz is the low-maintenance choice, which is why it is the one most of our kitchen projects specify.

Can I replace just the countertop and keep my cabinets?

Yes, provided the cabinets are sound and level. We template the existing run, check the cabinet boxes can carry the weight — quartz is heavy — add support where a span or an overhang needs it, and install with new undermount sinks and faucet holes cut to your fixtures. It is a two-visit job: one to template, one to install, with fabrication in between.

How long from template to installation?

Fabrication lead time after templating depends on the slab and the fabricator's schedule; we confirm it when the slab is chosen, and in a full kitchen renovation the template is taken as soon as the cabinets are set so the counters arrive when the kitchen is ready for them. Installation itself is typically a single day.

Quartz, granite, or porcelain?

Quartz is the low-maintenance default; granite brings natural pattern and takes heat well; porcelain is thin, hard, and great for contemporary looks. We will walk you through samples.

How long from template to install?

Typically five to ten business days after templating, depending on the fabricator and material. Install itself is usually done in a day.

Can you replace counters without changing cabinets?

Yes — if the cabinets are sound and level, counter-only swaps are quick. We check support and add reinforcement where needed.

Do you handle the sink and faucet hookup?

Yes — undermount sink bonding, faucet drilling, and full plumbing reconnection are included in our installs.
